Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 10, 2026

Open Epoch ("we", "the site") is a free Unix time converter. This policy explains what data the site touches and how. We keep it short because the site does very little with your data.

What we store

Open Epoch runs entirely in your browser. Your preferences (timezone, theme, and language) are saved in your browser's local storage on your own device. They never leave your browser and are not sent to any server. You can clear them at any time by clearing your browser data.

We do not have user accounts, we do not collect names or emails, and we do not run our own analytics or tracking.

Cookies and advertising

We may use Google AdSense to display ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.

You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. For more on how Google uses data, see How Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can also opt out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info.

Children

Open Epoch is a general-audience developer tool and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page with a new date above.
